Thanks to increasingly efficient aesthetic medicine treatments and the good facial care that most people practice, many people do not look their age today. However, the true witnesses of chronological age TODAY ARE THE HANDS.
What Does The Treatment Consist Of?
At Delarra we offer a hand rejuvenation program, in which the three fundamental parameters that are usually affected are assessed:
- Tortuous And Dilated Veins
- Lack Of “Substance” Between The Tendons Of The Back
- Skin Spots
Tortuous And Dilated Veins
Dilated veins are treated by injecting sclerosants, which will be in liquid or foam form depending on the type of vein. It is important to know the anatomy of the back of the hand well in order to eliminate those dilated veins that will not cause any alteration to the patient.
In cases of very dilated veins, a small surgical intervention called microphlebectomy may be considered.
LACK OF “SUBSTANCE” BETWEEN THE TENDONS OF THE BACK OF THE HAND IT IS USUALLY ENOUGH TO REMOVE THE DIMMED VEINS TO GIVE THE HANDS A MUCH MORE YOUNGER LOOK. If after removing the veins the lack of fat that has disappeared in the spaces between the tendons is still evident, this can be solved by injecting hyaluronic acid.
SKIN SPOTS
As a final touch and if necessary, we will proceed to improve the appearance of the skin, which is usually damaged by the high sun exposure suffered by the hands. This is done using our latest generation laser platform.
